For a lot of families, Aspen Grove Family Camp is a beloved Provo Canyon tradition. But some years the timing doesn’t work, the session you want is full, or the whole extended group simply can’t go — and what you really want is that canyon, that togetherness, just with your own family and on your own schedule.
That’s exactly what the Provo Canyon Treehouse offers: a private family camp in the same mountains, a short drive down-canyon from Aspen Grove itself.
The same canyon, on your terms

Aspen Grove sits up the canyon toward Sundance and the Alpine Loop — about 14 minutes from the cabin, the same stretch of the Wasatch we call home. You get the pines, the creek, and the mountain air, but with:
- Your dates, not a fixed session — book the week (or weekend) that actually works
- Just your family — no shared cabins or camp schedule
- Room for everyone — up to 12 guests across two bedrooms plus a sleeping loft, bunk room, and pull-outs, so grandparents, parents, and kids are all together under one roof
Built for the camp rituals — minus the roughing it

The things families love about camp are all here, a little more comfortable:
- Campfire nights at the gas fire pit (s’mores encouraged)
- A sleeping loft with three mattresses the kids will fight over — plus a bunk room that’s a guaranteed hit
- The creek out the back door for wading and exploring
- A hot tub and steam shower for the grown-ups after a day on the trail
- A full kitchen so family dinners happen on your terms
Hike straight from camp

The trails that make Aspen Grove special are right here. The Stewart Falls hike (one of Utah’s prettiest waterfall trails) leaves from the Aspen Grove area, Mount Timpanogos towers overhead, and easier walks like the Provo River Trail and Bridal Veil Falls start near the cabin.
